MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY

Since its opening in January 2008, PCEA Oloolua St Andrew’s School has providedprimary education to hundreds of local children.  The School has given these children the chance to go on to secondary education and to achieve their ambition in life.

Project Harambee is working in close partnership with the PCEA Oloolua Church and St Andrew’s School in Ngong, Kenya, to deliver three innovative projects:

1.      to establish a small farm of cows and chickens.  The produce will be used to reduce the school’s food bill and to sell to the local community;

2.      to establish an area which will be used to grow fruits and vegetables.  The aim is to build a greenhouse to protect the crops from the weather. Again the produce will be used to reduce the school’s food bill and to sell to the local community; and

3.      to establish a recycling facility at the school for plastic bottles and paper/cardboard.  These will be sold to recycling companies to generate income for the school.

These projects will enable the School to become more financially self-sufficientand continue its tremendous work in the community.  With your help the children can receive the education they deserve to fulfil their ambitions.

Using our search engine to search the internet – we receive an annual donation based on its usage,at no cost to you.  Depending on the type of mobile phone you have, you may be able use this search engine to search the mobile internet.

Please do not forget to tell your family and friends about these fundraising opportunities. The more people using our shopping portal and search engine the more the Project will benefit.
