Fundraising Evening on Monday 31st January
You are warmly invited to attend the Company’s fundraising evening for Project Harambee on Monday 31st January. Please bring along your family and friends. There will be a presentation by the group who visited Kenya last October – come and hear about their experience of the St Andrews School, the country and its people! There will also be an announcement about the exciting next phase of the Project.
The evening will start at 7.30pm in Davidson’s Mains Parish Church’s North Hall. The evening will finish with refreshments at 8.30 pm. Normal BB meetings that evening will not take place and all Boys should attend in BB uniform. There will be a small charge of £5 per adult and £2 per child, payable at the door, to cover the cost of refreshments and for the Project. During refreshments there will be an opportunity to buy our 2011 Calendars, order Project branded clothing and pick up further information about the Project.

December 2010
Hope that you are enjoying the festivities! Well, this year has been a busy year for Project Harambee with the main focus being our very successful visit to Kenya in October. It was a great opportunity to renew old friendship and make new friends with everyone we met there. A full report and photographs can be found here - well worth a view!
A number of fundraising events took place during the year and I would like to thank everyone who helped out - your effort is very much appreciated. I am pleased to announce that, once again, we have exceeded our target and the money will be transferred to the St Andrew School early in the New Year.
Also in the New Year, we will be holding our fist fundraising evening on Monday 31st January in the Church Hall. You are warmly invited to come along and hear from the Senior Boys who visited Kenya and learn about an exciting new phase for the Project.
With best wishes for 2011!

Seven Goes To Kenya
Next month, a group of 7 leaders and Senior Boys will be spending 15 days in Kenya. A busy and varied programme has been arranged in close co-operation with our Kenyan hosts. The programme will include painting work at the School, attending church services held in English and Swahili, spending a day with the local Boys' and Girls' Brigade Company, an afternoon with the Church's Youth Fellowship, visiting a rural Maasai church to learn how they worship, and going on safari.
Everyone, both in the group and in Kenya, is really looking forward to renewing old friendships and making new friendships during the trip.
